The locals will be out in force sharing their food secrets, and they have plenty to tell.

Find out about bush tucker from the team at Kingfisher Bay Resort.  Their rangers will show you what food you can find in the wild, then their chef will show you how to cook it.

Also at Relish will be My Kitchen Rules winners in 2013, Hervey Bay residents Dan and Step, sharing their passion for the bay, food and family.

Get in early for the Relish Long Lunch, a four-course meal produced by some of the best local restaurants in the region. Located in Queen’s Park near the wishing well, the beautiful, secluded park setting surrounded towering trees will make this a very special event. Tickets are $115, including festival entry.




Again this year, there is the opportunity to cruise the Mary River with Bubbles on the Boat aboard Amaroo for $30.

There’s also food and wine matching sessions with wine from Hill of Promise Winery & Cellar Door matched with food by Rocco Turina for $30 per person.

Beer & Food Matching with samples from Bargara Brewing Company and canapes from Russell Czinege from Bay Fusion at the Criterion Hotel Beer Garden for $30 per person.
